BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The men's soccer team suffered a, 6-0 setback against Felician University on Thursday at Foley Field. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest left Bloomfield College of Montclair State University with a 1-5-2 overall record and 0-4-2 mark in league play. The Golden Falcons improved to 8-2-1 on the season with the road victory and 3-1-1 in conference matches.
Matthew Brun got the start in goal for the Bears and made 2 saves and surrendered 5 goals before giving way to freshman, Sander Mientjes midway into the 2
nd half. The rookie keeper gave up a goal while notching 5 saves against Felician as the visitors outshot Bloomfield, 21-3 for the game.
Next up, the Bears will travel to Georgian Court University for another CACC test scheduled for 12:00 pm.
