WATERBURY, Conn. – The Bears dropped their second straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle on Tuesday when they traveled to Post University. The 2-0 afternoon setback against Eagles men's soccer team moved Bloomfield to 1-4-2 overall and 0-3-2 in CACC play. The home team improved to 5-3-3 on the season and 3-0-2 in league action.
The Bears offense struggled as they managed only four shots the entire game with none of them reaching the Post goalkeeper.
Sander Meintjes gave up two goals in 90 minutes of play and made 5 saves.
Bloomfield returns to The Den on Thursday, October 10 to host The Golden Falcons from Felician University at 7:00 pm.
