BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Cougars from Caldwell University came to visit The Den and took three straight sets over the Bears in women's volleyball action. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tuesday night thriller left Bloomfield with a, 0-10 overall record and still searching for their first league victory at 0-5.
The Cougars (1-12, 1-4 CACC) took the opening set, 25-17 before holding the Bears to a, 25-12 win in Set 2. The game wrapped at 25-14 in the third and final set of the night.
Freshman,
Rayssa Satlher led the team with ten assists and added a service ace. Senior,
Sophia Wintonick had a team-high 11 digs for Bloomfield.
The Bears hit the road for another CACC contest on Thursday night against Wilmington University. The first serve is set for 7:00 p.m. at the WU Athletics Complex.
