BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Bloomfield College women's volleyball team suffered a, 3-0 setback Saturday afternoon against Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The Bears celebrated Senior Day prior to the game and recognized the program's six seniors. Bloomfield moved to 0-20 overall on the season and 0-14 in league play while the Lightning improved to 14-13 overall and evened their conference mark at, 7-7.

Angela Diaz Geronimo were all given their flowers before the contest as they were honored during the Senior Day Ceremony. Coach
Jorge Rodriguez thanked each senior for their contribution to the program and the college.
The visitors took the opening set, 25-17 before a scrappy 2
nd set victory at, 25-21. The afternoon wrapped up at 25-16 in the third and final set of the day.
Arroyo led the team with 10 assists and 2 service aces while freshman,
Rayssa Satlher chipped in six assists Wintonick had a team-high 8 digs for Bloomfield and Morales registered 7 kills during her last game in The Den.
The Bears hit the road for their final two CACC contests, first on Wednesday night against Caldwell University at 7:00 pm. They close out their 2024 campaign with a Saturday afternoon match at Post University set for a 12:00 p.m. first serve.
