BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears women's basketball fell to nationally ranked, Jefferson University Saturday afternoon, 94-57 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle at The Den. Bloomfield fell to 5-16 overall and 3-8 in conference play while the visiting Rams improved their record to 21-1 and a perfect, 11-0 in league action. 

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
·      Taneshia Tucker posted a team-high, 18 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3PT), 2 steals and 3 assists
·       Anisha Able poured in a new career-high of 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 FT) and 6 boards
 
KEY MOMENTS
·      Bloomfield started with the first two buckets of the game (4-0) the visitors responded with an 11-2 spurt to pull in front. The Bears countered with a, 9-0 run to draw even at 11-11 however the home team found themselves down, 19-13 by quarter's end. 
·      The Rams charged in front in the 2^nd quarter, quickly doubling up the Bears, 30-15 and seizing control of the match-up. Bloomfield committed 21 turnovers by halftime and went into the locker room down, 51-28.
·      The visitors grew their lead to twenty-six (61-35) within the first five minutes of the third. By the end of the frame, the 6^th ranked team in the nation was in full control, 73-39. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
·      The Bears finished the game with 31 turnovers and the Rams converted those into 47 points
·      The visitors were strong with a points in the paint advantage of, 48-28 and visited the free throw line, 15 times and converted all 15 to the Bears 1-of-2 trips to the charity stripe

·      Bloomfield returns to The Den on Wednesday Feb 14 when they host Post University at 5:30 p.m.
