BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears fell at home, 73-64 in a hotly contested Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle against Post University. Bloomfield dropped to 5-17 overall and 3-9 in conference play while the Eagles improved their overall record to 15-7 and 10-2 in league action. 

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
·      Taneshia Tucker posted her 7^th 20-point plus performance this season as she registered a game-high, 24 points (9-23 FG, 4-7 3PT, 2-2 FT), 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals
·      Tiara Mahorn contributed 15 points (4-10FG, 1-2 3PT, 6-9 FT), 6 boards and 5 steals 
 
KEY MOMENTS
·      Bloomfield began the scoring with a Tucker layup but Post responded to claim a 13-6 lead with over three minutes to play in the first. The teams would trade baskets to settle at a, 17-16 visitors edge by quarter's end. 
·      In the 2^nd frame the Eagles skied to an 8-point advantage, 29-28 before the Bears clawed back to pull within 29-28 with a little over two minutes on the clock. Post extended to 36-31 advantage by the halftime break.
·      Bloomfield came out of the locker room attacking and pulled to within 44-43 of the Eagles but the visiting team answered quickly with seven-straight points to settle down the home team's spurt.  The Bears continued to rally in the fourth quarter but Post found answers at every turn. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
·      Post held the edge on the boards as they grabbed 53 to the Bears 34 and the visiting Eagles held the lead for 95.00 percent of the contest 
 
WHAT'S NEXT

·      The Bears next contest will be Saturday February 17 when they hit the road to face Chestnut Hill College at 1:00 p.m.
·      Bloomfield returns to The Den on Tuesday Feb 20 when they host Dominican University at 5:30 p.m.
