Bloomfield, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's soccer team fell at home, 5-1 on Monday afternoon to the visiting Bryant & Stratton College of Rochester Bobcats.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears (1-7-3) saw the visitors take command early with a score in the fourth minute of play. The Bobcats (7-4-4) would scratch across three more goals before the end of the period and took a 4-0 advantage into intermission.
- Daniel Tabares netted his first goal of the season in the 64th minute of play in the 2nd half.
- The home team pressed for a second goal but were denied as the visitors reclaimed the four-goal advantage with a tally at the 85:36 minute-mark.
- Freshman keeper, Gamaliel Olarte made five saves in 90 minutes of play for Bloomfield.
INSIDE THE RESULTS
- The visitors recorded 18 shots in total with 11 of them on goal to the Bears 5 shots with only 2 of them on target.
- Starters, Ivan Maiato, Angel Hernandez, Raynaldo St. Bernard and Bonilla all registered a shot on goal for the home team.
- Tabares and Justin Trenado registered the home team's shots on goal.

The Bears will return home on Saturday, October 25 for Senior Day and their final match of the 2025 season. They will welcome Bryant & Stratton College of Buffalo to Foley Field for a scheduled 2:00 PM kickoff time.
