BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team suffered a, 99-83 setback in their home opener against the University of Bridgeport Tuesday evening. The loss was the Bears first of the season.

• The Purple Knights owned a 48-34 advantage in points in the paint.
• The visitors also controlled the boards by the tune of, 50-39.

• Artis had a career-high with his 17 points for the home team
