PEPPER PIKE, OH – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team suffered their first loss in USCAA play when they dropped a 77-75 decision to Bryant and Stratton College of Ohio Sunday afternoon. Bloomfield (5-2) saw four starters in double-figures but it wasn't enough as the Bobcats (6-3) held on to defeat the USCAA #5 ranked team.
Zamorian Singleton had a game high, 17 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field.
Marcus Bucknall had a strong showing with a game-high 16 boards to go along with 13 points for his 2
nd double-double of the season.
was a point behind Singleton, pouring in 21 points fueled by a 10-for-11 performance from the freethrow line.
Devin Artis and
Cameron McRae made the most of their insertion into the starting line-ups as they recorded 13 & 12 points respectively to round out the Bears top scorers.
The Bobcats controlled the pace and rode a 38-34 lead into the halftime break which proved to be the difference as the visitors came back with a 41-39 performance in the 2
nd frame. Bloomfield was out-rebounded 47-40 in the contest and committed 10 turnovers to BSC Ohio's 3.

The Bears will return to The Den for their next contest on Tuesday, December 9
th when they face the Bobcats from Albany. The battle with another Bryant & Stratton College opponent is scheduled for a 7:30 pm start.
