The second regular season of CACC E-Sports competition has concluded for Spring 2025. Each game title has an uncontested king - will they claim their crown or will a usurper steal the throne?
ROCKET LEAGUE: Post University is the clear favorite in Rocket League after going 6-0 throughout the regular season. Every match was a clean 4-0 sweep aside from the Eagles' match against Georgian Court University which went all the way to game 7. If both of these teams reach the final this will be an incredible match to watch.
But first Post will have to first get past Caldwell University in the semifinals. Caldwell had a phenomenal Fall 2024 season which culminated with an upset of Post in the championship game to take home its first Esports championship. The Eagles will be hungry for revenge while the Cougars will be looking to defend their title and prove last season was no fluke. Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket, Wilmington University will face Georgian Court. Wilmington had an excellent season being the only other team besides Post to go positive in the goal differential column throughout the regular season. GCU is new to CACC Esports this season and will be looking to make their mark, while Wilmington will be trying to leverage their best regular season yet with a trip to the finals.

SMASH ULTIMATE: Bloomfield College once again stands alone atop the leaderboard with an immaculate 6-0 (12-0) record and a sizzling +72 stock differential. The Bears will be traveling to Waterbury, Conn., on March 29 to play their semifinal match in person at 4 p.m. in Post University's Esports lab. Post is the heavy underdog in this matchup coming in as the No. 4 seed but home field advantage could give the Eagles the boost they need to make the upset happen.
In the other match it will be Dominican facing off against Goldey-Beacom. GBC cemented itself as the clear No. 2 behind Bloomfield going 4-2 in the regular season with their only two losses coming at the hands of the Bears. However, Dominican's team is coming off its best Smash season yet and is champing at the bit to get to the championship.

MARVEL RIVALS: Lastly, it's the newest CACC Esports game title - Marvel Rivals. Much hype surrounded this game's release last year, and that hype has transformed into an incredibly passionate player-base - so much so that four CACC schools were able to instantly form teams to compete in this Spring 2025 season. Goldey-Beacom is the clear favorite to win it all after the regular season. The Lightning went an impressive 6-0 and only dropped 2 maps the entire season. They'll be facing Wilmington in the Semi-Finals.
In the 2-3 matchup, Caldwell faces Post. This is the same pairing as the semifinals for Rocket League so both teams will be showing out to support one another in this bout. Caldwell reverse-swept Post last time they faced each other back in Week 4, so Post is eager for the run-back while Caldwell has their eyes on the Finals.
