LITTLE FERRY, NJ – The Golden Falcons of Felician University welcomed the Bears softball team on Friday for some Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action at Shannon D. Forde Field. Bloomfield dropped both games of the league doubleheader and fell to 0-33 overall with a 0-18 conference mark. Felician improved to 16-30 overall and 9-11 in CACC play.
Game 1 looked promising for the Bears as
Daniela Vidal led off with a double to right field and later came around to score on a wild pitch. Bloomfield's number two hitter,
Alana Roberts singled and then came home after Hailey Conner laced a double to right field and the visitors were in business, up, 2-0 after their first three batters. Bloomfield failed to plate another run for the afternoon and Game 1 slipped away, 10-2.
In Game 2 the Golden Falcons won, 2-0 with
Kate Juskiewicz (0-14) going the distance in the circle for Bloomfield allowing just the two runs on four hits while walking four.

The Bears celebrate Senior Day on Monday, April 21 when Jefferson visits Clarks Pond South for a CACC doubleheader. Game 1 is set for a 2:00 pm with the Senior Day festivities scheduled for 1:40 pm.
