BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The #1 ranked men's basketball team in the USCAA finished their regular season on Friday and came away with a, 104-98 decision over Cheyney University. Bloomfield celebrated Senior Day in front of the home crowd at The Den and closed out the year with an 18-6 overall record.
Prior to tip-off the Athletic Department honored the program's two seniors,
Marcus Bucknall and
Zamorian Singleton for their contributions over the years at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The visitors took the fight to the Bears in the first half and pushed ahead, 23-17 but Bloomfield settled in and controlled the tempo to climb back in front, 53-50 heading into the intermission break.
- Freshman, Cameron McRae willed the home team to victory as he set a new career-high 33 points on an efficient 12-for-14 shooting which included 3-of-5 from long range and he added 6-for-7 from the freethrow line.
- Singleton didn't disappoint on Senior Day as he went for 21 points on 50.0 percent shooting from the field (6-for-12) and added 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
- Devin Artis shot 5-of-8 from the field and racked up 16 points.
- Brandon Hendryx stepped up with his third-straight double-double, netting 13 points and 10 rebounds in his third start of the season.
- Jahi Whitney added in 11 points on 5-for-9 shooting while Na'Shawn Jones came off the bench to chip in 10 points and rounded out the home team's top scorers.

Bloomfield will await the details of the North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) tournament to be hosted by Five Towns College February 21st and 22nd. On 'Bid Day' February 24
th Bloomfield will learn who they face in the USCAA National Championship Tournament to be played in Buffalo, NY in March.
