Biography
About Perez: A talented outside hitter, Daliana returns to the Lady Deacons for her senior campaign in 2012. A multi-sport athlete at Bloomfield, Perez concluded a solid four-year career as a member of Bloomfield's softball team in the spring of 2012.
As a junior: Appeared in 22 matches with 66 sets played...Totaled 37 kills and eight assists...Notched 137 digs to finish fifth on the 2011 Lady Deacons as a junior...Tallied nine service aces on the year...Totaled a season-high seven kills in back-to-back matches on October 6 and October 8 against CACC opponents Felician College and Goldey Beacom College...Tallied a season-high 19 digs in a loss to Chestnut Hill College on October 1.
As a sophomore: Appeared in 16 matches with 33 sets played...Totaled 17 kills, one assist and three service aces...Notched 37 digs to post a 1.12 per set average...Totaled a season high four kills in a September 17 match against CACC rival Concordia College.
As a freshman: Appeared in 17 matches with 39 sets played...Notched 12 kills, seven assists and two service aces...Totaled 28 digs during the 2009 campaign.
Before Bloomfield: A two-time All-Conference selection during her high school career, Perez starred at Hudson County Prep. High School before joining the Bloomfield College program in 2009.
Why Daliana chose Division II: "Coming from a small private school in high school, Bloomfield caught my interest because of its size, and I immediately felt at home with both teams when I came to visit."
