Bloomfield College

About Devries:  The libero for the Lady Deacons throughout her college career, Brittany was a rock-solid defender over the course of her four years at Bloomfield.  A multi-sport athlete, Devries also starred as a member of Bloomfield's softball team during her collegiate years. 

As a senior:  Appeared in all 26 matches with 97 sets played...Totaled two kills and six assists...Notched 12 service aces to place her sixth on the 2010 team...Led the Lady Deacons with an even 400 digs, her 4.12 digs per set placing her sixth in the CACC...Tallied a season high 33 digs in an October 26 match against Nyack College...Registered at least 20 digs in six matches, while posting at least 10 digs in 19 matches in her senior season.

As a junior:  Appeared in 23 matches with 88 sets played...Registered 297 digs to lead the Lady Deacons...Totaled two kils and 28 service aces, her .24 aces per set average placing her fourth on the 2009 club.

As a freshman:  Appeared in 32 matches with 106 sets played...Notched five kills, 10 assists and four service aces...totaled 209 digs to post an average of 1.97 digs per set.

Why Brittany chose Division II:  "I chose Bloomfield College because the school gave me the opportunity to continue my playing career in both softball and volleyball, and play at a high level of competition."
