Biography
About Montano: A consistent player with a deep knowledge of the game, Clodesh played one season for the Lady Deacons, her junior season after transferring from Monroe College in 2011. Montano was the club's leading offensive player during her lone season with the program, leading the team in kills and providing a legitimate weapon for the Lady Deacons attack.
As a junior: Appeared in 21 matches with 71 sets played...Led the Lady Deacons with 200 kills on the season, posting a 2.82 kills per set average (good for sixth in the CACC)...Finished second on the club with 42 service aces, her .59 aces per set average good for second in the CACC...Placed second on the club with 176 digs...Totaled at least 10 kills in 11 matches as a junior...Notched a career-high 20 kills in a September 17 loss to CACC opponent Philadelphia University...Tallied at least 15 kills in three matches as junior in 2011.
Before Bloomfield: A standout player at Monroe, Clodesh was voted Team Most Valuable Player in her sophomore season before transferring to Bloomfield College.
Why Clodesh chose Division II: “I chose to come to Bloomfield because the coaching staff had recruited me for a long time, so it was a place I was familiar with and comfortable with.”
