After spending two years on the sidelines as an assistant coach at Bloomfield College, the 2019-2020 volleyball season marks head coach Kevin Barrows’ first year in charge of the Bears women’s program. "I'm excited for this opportunity to take over the program and look forward to working with our student-athletes to make them better on and off the court," said Coach Barrow.
A graduate of Bloomfield (NJ) High School, Barrow played volleyball at Kean University where he helped the Cougars win three Skyline Conference championships. He also played on the teams that went to the DIII NCAA Tournament all three years that he was there.
"I think Kevin will do well in building the program for us here at Bloomfield," Athletic Director Sheila Wooten said. "He has a high IQ for the game and pays abundant attention to details."
A lifetime resident of Bloomfield, NJ, Kevin holds a B.S. in Community Recreation from Kean University.
