NYACK, N.Y. (January 29, 2013) - Junior shooting guard Ivettlis Castro (Carteret, N.J.) led four double-figure scorers with 18 points off the bench Tuesday night, as the Bloomfield College women's basketball team notched their third-highest point total of the season in a lopsided 79-34 road victory over CACC North Division rival Nyack College.

Bloomfield (10-10, 7-6 CACC) would quickly gain the advantage in the opening half, limiting the Warriors to just nine points and forcing 15 turnovers over the first 20 minutes of play en route to a 34-9 halftime lead.  It would prove to be more of the same in the second half, as the Lady Deacons would shoot 56% from the field and connect on three of their five long-range attempts to complete the road win and snap the club's two-game losing streak.  The victory moves Bloomfield to a game over .500 in conference play, and earns the Lady Deacons a season sweep of their divisional counterparts for the third consecutive season. 

Castro finished the night 7-of-10 from the field in an efficient shooting performance, going 2-for-3 from beyond the arc in just 11 minutes of action.  Three players each totaled 10 points in the win for Bloomfield, with junior guard Iliriana Lulgjuraj (Bloomfield, N.J.) coming off the bench to reach double figures and add three assists.  Rookie guard Ariel Wilson (Chesapeake, Va.) totaled 10 points, four rebounds, a game-high five assists and three steals in a stellar all-around effort, while sophomore center Tierra Scott (Bear, De.) added 10 points in the win. Senior forward Shaniqua Bacote (Paterson, N.J.) totaled a career-high four blocks to go with six points in the victory. 

Bloomfield returns to action Saturday, February 2, when they welcome CACC South Division foe Philadelphia University for a late-season conference contest.  Tip-off for the matchup is scheduled for 1 p.m.
