BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - Shut-down pitching from junior hurlers
Kirsten Wilson (Beaver Falls, P.A.) and
Stephanie Miller (Temecula, Calif.) paired with timely hitting from classmates
Faith Apolskis (Soquel, Calif.) and
Paige Lafferty (Liberty Hill, T.X.) along with seniors
Lauren Bueno (Hacienda Heights, Calif.) and
Veronica Cobos (Torrence, Calif.) led the Bloomfield College softball team to a double-header sweep of Felician University Thursday afternoon at Clarks Pond South, notching a 3-2 win in 9 innings before adding a 9-3 victory in the nightcap.

Bloomfield climbed above .500 with their fourth consecutive victory with a 13-12 overall record and 7-5 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Felician University fell to 11-17 on the season with a 5-7 mark in league play.
