COOK'S HOMER NOT ENOUGH AS BEARS SOFTBALL FALL 7-1 TO MARAUDERS

CLERMONE, FLA. - Junior transfer Jamie Cook (Elkland, P.A.) hit a monster solo home run to left centerfield in the second inning but it was not enough as the Uviversity of Mary score seven unanswered points and handed Bloomfield College a, 7-1 defeat Friday afternoon at Hancock Park in Clermont, Fla. The Bears (1-1) suffered their first loss of 2016 while the Maruaders improved to 5-9 with the non-conference Spring tournament victory.
