FLUSHING, N.Y. – Senior Valerie Bermudez (San Juan, P.R.) and freshman Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, T.X.) each added eight kills, but that wasn't enough as the Bloomfield College volleyball team fell to Queens College, 3-0 in its 2 p.m. season opening match. Kali Viles (McKinney, T.X.) joined Bermudez to lead the Bears in match two against Le Moyne College with 8 kills, but Bloomfield fell, 3-1, to round out play in the Long Island Invitational in Fitzgerald Gymnasium.
