BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Bears traveled to take on the Clippers of Concordia and made quick work on the evening with a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory Wednesday. Bloomfield improved their overall record to 5-8 and 2-1 in conference play while the Clippers fell to 0-4 on the year with a 0-3 mark in league contests.
Senior
Valerie Bermudez (San Juan, P.R.) led the way with 9 kills and chipped in 6 digs.
Nayade Paulino (Paterson, N.J.) registered 5 blocks while senior classmates,
Jacquelyn Madlock (Alta Loma, Calif.) and
Edmarie Freytes (San Juan, P.R.) each served up 14 assists.
Samantha Rios (Juncos, P.R.) added in 8 digs and 2 services aces on the evening. Junior
Alex Glasper (Hainesport, N.J.) recorded four blocks for the game.
Bloomfield will return to the gym for a three-game CACC home stand beginning first with USciences on Saturday, September 24
th. The Bears are set to play a 12:00 pm match with the Devils as they look to register their second league victory in a row.
