PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team notched their second consecutive win in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action, after a, 72-61 outing against Chestnut Hill College Saturday afternoon. The Bears saw a strong performance from junior forward
Nick Davidson (Lumberton, N.J.), who knocked in 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field and 8 rebounds.
Ahmid Williams (Monroe, N.J.) in his fourth start of the season added 14 points and 4 assists to the Bears winning effort.

How It Happened
- Bloomfield never trailed during the contest as a, 16-6 spurt opened the game and gave the CACC North Division visitors an advantage they would never relinquish. A basket in the paint by guard, Marcus Fleming (Linden, N.J.) gave the Bears their largest lead of the half (34-20) before they went into the locker rooms up, 36-25
- The Bears second leading scorer, Rakwan Kelly (Newark, N.J.) netted eight of his ten points in the first half on 4-of-7 shooting from the field and the visitors as a whole shot 40 percent (14-of-35) from the floor during the half
- Bloomfield picked up where they left off to start the second half as Williams buried a three-pointer to push the lead to 39-25. The Griffins however, still had some lift under their wings and surged to within two (44-42) with 13:42 on the clock
- Less than three minutes later The Bears clawed out a 12-0 spurt capped by a Davidson three-ball and a fast break layup from guard, Juan Brown (Annapolis, M.D.) to regain control, 56-42
- Williams and Brown's back-to-back shots from beyond the arc gave the CACC North Division's top team their largest lead (18) before securing the eleven-point victory at game's end
