BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The women's volleyball team got back on the winning track Tuesday night with a sweep over cross-town rival, Felician University. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win snapped an 8-game skid for the Bears and pushed their overall record to 6-15 while keeping them in the post-season hunt with a 5-7 mark in league play.
Bloomfield saw
Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX) record a game-high 17 kills as the home team defending The Den with set victories of 25-17, 25-15 and 25-18. Freshman,
Junelly Marrero (Cantano, PR) paced the offense with 30 assists and also chipped in 11 digs while
Linda Thomas (Irvington, NJ) registered 12 digs for the night.
Bloomfield will look to keep their winning ways alive when they hit the road to face the Tigers of Holy Family University. The Saturday afternoon showdown is scheduled for a 12:00 pm start in Philadelphia.
