BRONXVILLE, NY – The Bloomfield College volleyball team took a van ride down to Bronxville Wednesday evening to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division rival Concordia College and suffered a 3-0 setback. The Bears dropped to 6-17 on the season and 5-9 in conference matches while the Clippers improved to 3-12 overall and 3-11 in league play.
Bloomfield fell in straight sets of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-20.
Junelly Marrero (Cantano, PR) registered 22 assists to lead Bloomfield while in
Linda Thomas (Irvington, NJ) chipped in a game-high 11 digs for the match.
Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX) led the visitors with eight kills, recorded six digs and two service aces.
The Bears return home for a 12:00 pm battle with the Eagles from Post University on Saturday.
