BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The women's volleyball team scored their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division victory Tuesday when Dominican College came to the Den for a visit. The, 3-0 sweep of the Chargers pushed the Bears record to 3-7 overall with a 2-0 mark in conference games while the visitors fell to 0-10 overall and 0-2 in league matches.
 
Bloomfield wasted very little time, taking the game in straight sets with scores of, 25-12, 25-20 and 25-9. The third set was the lowest point-output the Bears had held team to this season.
 
Jandra Fabian (Santa Dominigo, DR) had a season-high, 16 digs to go along with 9 kills, 3 service aces and a block as she continued her solid play on the court. Sophomore Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX) chipped in 10 digs of her own, 6 kills and a career-best, 6 service aces. Junelly Marrero (Cantano, PR) had an easy day pacing the Bloomfield offense with 15 assists while fellow freshman, Ashley Stroot (Rolesville, NC) recorded 5 kills, 4 service aces and a team-high 2 blocks.
 
The Bears return to action this Friday at 7:00 pm when they hit the road to face Felician University. Bloomfield will look to extend their win streak in CACC North Division matches when they face off against the Golden Falcons at the Job Gymnasium.
