RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Bloomfield College women's volleyball team pull off an amazing comeback Friday evening at the Job Gymnasium as they remained undefeated in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a 3-2 win over Felician University. After falling behind 21-25 and 17-25 in the first two sets, the Bears came growling back with 27-25, 25-18 and 15-12 set victories to claim the match and improved their overall record to 4-7 and remained unblemished (3-0) in league play. The Golden Falcons dropped to 1-7 overall and heartbroken with an opportunity for their first CACC (0-3) win snatched away by the visiting Bears.
 
Jandra Fabian (Santa Dominigo, DR) had a career day in her Bloomfield uniform as the junior outside hitter recorded 21 kills, 19 digs and 4 blocks. Freshman setter, Junelly Marrero (Cantano, PR) registered career highs with 52 assists and 17 digs as the Bears used a complete team effort to pull off the extraordinary comeback. Sophomore Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX) chipped in 20 digs and classmate Delanie Cruz (Chicago, IL) added 18 digs and 2 assists. Linda Thomas (Irvington, NJ) saw some valuable action with 17 digs and a service ace while the freshman dynamic duo in the middle of Ashley Stroot (Rolesville, NC) and Ella Ditzenberger (Tracy, Calif) had three blocks each.
 
With the match knotted at 2-2, Bloomfield fell behind in the fifth and deciding set 6-4 before growling back to an 8-8 tie. The Bears edged in front 12-9 after a few attack errors from the home team and Fabian recorded the final kill of the match nearly two hours after the first serve of the night.
 
The Bears return to home court to #DefendTheDen tomorrow against Chestnut Hill College. The Saturday afternoon battle with the Griffins will mark another opportunity for Bloomfield to extend their win streak in CACC North Division matches. Game time is set for 12:00 pm.
