BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears women's volleyball team successfully picked up their fourth consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory Saturday over the Chestnut Hill College, 3-0. The sweep over the Griffins improved the Bears record to 5-7 overall with a perfect 4-0 mark in league play and a tie for first place in the division.
The home team took the first set comfortably at 25-15 but Chestnut Hill (2-12, 1-3 CACC) put up a valiant fight the rest of the way. Set 2, the Griffins narrowed the margin but eventually fell, 25-23 and in Set 3, the visitors jumped out to a 8-1 advantage before Bloomfield closed out the sweep with a 25-23 victory.

Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX) had a solid day at the office as she registered 11 kills, 10 digs, 2 service aces and a block.
Jandra Fabian (Santa Dominigo, DR) nothched 10 kills and 2 blocks for the afternoon while junior transfer,
Linda Thomas (Irvington, NJ) recorded a team-high, 11 digs. The Bears freshman,
Junelly Marrero (Cantano, PR) paced the offense with 26 assists during the win.
This Wednesday, Sept. 27
th the Bears will travel to Post University for their next CACC North Division battle. The match is scheduled to start at 7pm in The Drubner Center.
