Philadelphia- The Bloomfield College Men's team finished 5th overall at the Jack Saint Claire Invite hosted by Thomas Jefferson University at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia last weekend.
Marc Lugo crossed the finish line first for the Bears and 16th overall when he clocked in at 28:18.3 while classmate, Giovanni Aracena posted a time of 28:49.3 finishing second for the Bears placing 25th overall. Isaiah Curbelo finished 3rd when he clocked in with a time of 28:56.6, placing him 27th overall and rookie Paul Keyes clocked in at 29:13.0 placing him 31st overall.
Nicholas Rivera clocked in with a time of 29:29.9 and Maurisio Nazario clocked in with a time of 29:37.7 both placing 33rd and 34th respectively. Samuel Keleekai posted a personal best with the time of 32:52.1 finishing 75th overall and Eddy Ongwenyi posted a time of 37:53.4 and Brandon LaRaque finished with a time of 38:08.8. Brandon Phillip rounded out the Bears' runners as he crossed the finish line with a time of 43:19.5.
Bloomfield will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Holmdel, NJ when they compete in the Monmouth Tune-Up at 3:45 pm.
