WATURBURY, CT– The Bears women's volleyball team suffered their third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss Saturday afternoon on a visit to Post University's Drubner Center. The Eagles swept Bloomfield, 3-0 and improved their record to 11-12 overall and 8-4 in conference play. The visitors fell to 3-20 for the season and 3-9 in league action after the 25-11, 25-21 and 25-21 set losses.
Junior
Danielle Quintanar (El Paso, TX ) had 9 digs, 6 kills and a block for the Bears while freshmen
Destiny King (Williamstown, NJ) added 5 kills and 2 blocks in the match.
Delanie Cruz (Chicago, IL) chipped in seven digs and a service ace for the visitors and
Junelly Marrero (Cantano, Puerto Rico) led the team with twelve digs.
Bloomfield will look to the confines of home for their next match on Wednesday against Dominican College. The Chargers enter the Den for a 7:00 pm CACC battle.
