BLOOMFIELD, NJ – The Bears men's basketball team returned to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action Tuesday evening and soared to an, 85-62 victory over Post University. Bloomfield remained unbeaten in league action and pushed their conference record to 5-0 while improving to .500 overall with a 7-7 mark. The Eagles fell to 4-11 on the season overall and 1-4 in CACC match ups after the setback in The Den.  
 
The home team jumped in front 41-32 by intermission with Rich Chapman (Newark, NJ) and Keith Washington (Philadelphia, PA) leading the way with 14 and 12 points respectively. The tandem combined to shoot 50.0 percent from the field (9-for-18) including 6-of-11 from long range. The Bears, as a team, shot 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from beyond the arc in the opening half of play. 
 
Senior captain, Kavione Green (Amityville, NY) added his fifth double-double of the year with a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with 17 points as Bloomfield continued to pull away from Post in the 2^nd half. Washington finished the night with a game-high, 20 points and Chapman ended with 18 on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. Dontay Julius (Linden, NJ) came off the bench to round off the Bears top-scorers, netting 11 points in 13 minutes of action.
 
Bloomfield next travels to Chestnut Hill College for a Saturday battle in Philadelphia. The Bears will put their unbeaten streak in CACC play on the line when they face-off with the Griffins at 3:00 pm.
