Bloomfield, NJ - In the fight against the University of Albany's second team, the Bears couldn't find their footing dropping the series in back to back games. Game 1 had the UAlbany team putting pressure all over the map through their jungle Gragas early and often. Two quick kills within four minutes gave the UAlbany team the lead and they never looked back. While the Bears would capitalize on a few misplays, the UAlbany team was relentless around the map, building a five thousand gold lead in 11 minutes which would eventually turn into an over ten thousand gold lead at 16 minutes and a kill lead 17-2 overall. With the Bears looking to turn and the page onto the next game, they surrendered giving the UAlbany team the 1-0 lead.
Game 2 saw an even game up until the 15 minute mark. With UAlbany once again looking to put pressure on Bloomfield with plays from their jungler and mid laner, they made plays around dragon to build another five thousand gold lead while taking numerous turrets and a dragon as well. The Bears battled back, getting kills onto their bot lane Tristana and top lane Garen, they fought their way back and with their team fight around Baron at 21 minutes, picked up five kills without losing a member and cutting the gold deficit in half while picking up the Baron buff in the process. The Bears then fought UAlbany for objectives around the map and with a wild fight working in Bloomfield's favor at dragon, looked to swing the momentum taking an inhibitor from UAlbany at 24 minutes. What was once a ten thousand gold lead was a mere three thousand and a near even game. One aggressive play however, was the end of the potential comeback for Bloomfield. Catching the main damage dealers out UAlbany killed four members of the Bloomfield team and marched down the mid lane destroying the Bears' base and taking the set 2-0.
