ECAC ANNOUNCES E-SPORTS COMMUNITY GAME NIGHTS AND NBA 2K20 TOURNAMENT

3/24/2020 4:41:00 PM

BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The ECAC has been working hard for its members to try to fill this present void in intercollegiate esports competition brought about by COVID-19.  With schools temporarily shutting down and students in many cases returning home, the ECAC with the help of LeagueSpot, has designed esports competitions specifically to fit these new circumstances.

The ECAC has officially opened registration for a Community Game Night series for their members and beyond. Bloomfield College with our E-Sports program is a participating member however if you are not an ECAC member, you can still join in the fun! It is an open format, meaning that students can play on teams with students from other schools as well. Also, coaches, administrators, professors, are welcome to join. Overwatch, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate are the game titles that there will be competition in. Please click HERE for the Community Game Night book which includes step by step details on how to register along with the schedule, game day procedure, and overall structure of the competition. Along with this ECAC new series, they will have a separate tournament for NBA 2k20 (1v1) on PS4 that is also open to students who are or are not an ECAC member!
