BLOOMFIELD, NJ. - The Bears volleyball team saw their five-game winning streak come to the end Saturday afternoon in The Den when Wilmington University came away with a 3-1 decision. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle left Bloomfield College at 5-3 overall and 4-1 in league play while the Wildcats improved to 8-7 on the season and 4-1 in conference matches.
Esther Dogbe (Irvington, NJ) had a game-high 14 kills for the home squad and
Karla Burgos (Cantano, Puerto Rico) and
Jodianis Ibarra (Corozal, Puerto Rico) recorded 11 and 10 kills respectively. The tough match at home saw sophomore setter,
Lauryn Hansford (Plainfield, NJ) post a game-high 34 assists and chipped in 10 digs for the Bears.

Bloomfield will head to Post University for their next CACC outing on Tuesday, October 6th. The league contest against the Eagles is schedule for 7:00 pm with the Bears attempting to gut back to their winning ways.
