JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team suffered an, 86-59 road loss on Thursday to Nyack College. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest on John J. Moore court dropped the Bears overall record to 3-10 and 1-3 in league play. The Warriors improved to 3-1 in conference games and boosted their overall record to 5-7 on the season.
Freshman,
Deavion Ellis (North Bergen, NJ) came off the bench to match his career-high with, 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. The lone Bloomfield player to notch double-figures, went 4-for-8 from beyond the three-point arc and snagged 5 rebounds.
Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) grabbed a team-high 6 rebounds for the visitors while
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) netted 9 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field.
The Bears next contest will be a tough CACC battle with nationally ranked Dominican College. Bloomfield will host the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) 20
th team in the nation Chargers on Thursday with a scheduled tip-off time of 7:30 pm. Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, games are subject to postponements with very little notice. Please check back on bcbearsathletics.com frequently for updates.
