BLOOMFIELD, NJ– The Bloomfield College men's basketball team soared to a solid win Wednesday evening over the Golden Falcons of Felician University, 77-67. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory marked the Bears 4^thconsecutive and improved their record to 7-11 on the year and above .500 (5-4) for the first time this season in league play. The visitors fell to 9-6 overall and 4-3 in conference match-ups. 
 
The home team came out shooting at a 47.4 percent clip (18-of-38) and took a 42-29 lead into the halftime intermission. The Bears used a 46-34 edge in rebounds to secure the pivotal conference victory and outscored the Golden Falcons' bench, 25-5 during the game.
 
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) shot 50.0 percent from the field (6-of-12) to lead Bloomfield with 18 points. The CACC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) chipped in 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the floor while Tyrek Battle-Holley (Jersey City, NJ) grabbled a team-high 9 rebounds to go along with 7 points. Isaiah Sparks (Ewing, NJ) and Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) both came off the bench to round out the Bears top scorers with 12 and 11 points respectively.
 
Bloomfield will return to the friendly confines of The Den for a Saturday, January 29th battle with Jefferson University. The Bears will look to continue their red-hot CACC win streak when the Rams come to town for a 3:00 pm scheduled tip-off. The Bloomfield coaching staff will also be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Week, a nationwide event where basketball coaches unite for a common cause – to help those living with cancer.
