LAKEWOOD, NJ – A balanced attack led the Bloomfield College men's basketball team to an. 82-68 road win on Saturday against Georgian Court University. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest saw the Bears post five players in double-figures for the first time this season and improve their overall record to 3-9. The visiting team improved to 1-2 in conference play while the Lions saw their record drop to 2-11 for the season and 1-4 in league games.

Deavion Ellis (North Bergen, NJ) made the most of his second start of the season, registering a career-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. The 6'-2 guard, went perfect from the free throw line (5-for-5) and dished out four assists and snagged 7 rebounds. Classmate,
Andres Fulgencio (Teaneck, NJ) recorded his first double-double of the year 16 points and a game-high, 10 rebounds for the Bears.
Bloomfield led for 95.9 percent of the game and went into the locker room at halftime up, 38-30 on the strength of 44.0 percent shooting from the field (15-of-34). CACC Player of the Week,
Tyrek Battle-Holley (Jersey City, NJ) finished his day with 13 points after going 5-for-10 from the floor, including 1-of-2 from long range and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) pitched in 12 points and 4 rebounds while junior transfer,
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) netted a modest 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting at the GCU Wellness Center.
Bloomfield will look to carry their momentum in CACC play Tuesday when they travel to Nyack College. The Warriors roll out the welcome mat to host the Bears in Jersey City for a scheduled 8:00 pm tip-off.
