BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Bears men's basketball team were led by a double-double from Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) Saturday afternoon in an, 83-82 victory over visiting Saint Michael's College. Bloomfield improved to 5-4 on the year after the non-conference win while the Purple Knights fell to 6-5 on the season.

Deavion Ellis (North Bergen, NJ) drove hard in the paint for the game-winning layup with 5.0 seconds remaining in the 2nd half but Morris fueled the home team's victory with his, 22 point and 10 rebound performance. Ellis finished the afternoon with 12 points off the bench. Tyrek Battle-Holley (Jersey City, NJ) also came off the bench and poured in 15 points while Andres Fulgencio (Englewood, NJ) netted 14 points to round out Bloomfield's top scorers.
 
The Bears next challenge will be another non-conference test, this time on the road against Franklin Pierce on December 17. The game is slated for an 1:30 pm start in New Hampshire.
