BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield hosted Felician University Thursday evening in The Den and thrilled their crowd to a, 3-0 sweep in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) volleyball action. The Golden Falcons dropped to 1-10 overall with the setback and 1-2 in conference play while the Bears roared to 2-0 in league matches and 3-4 overall.
 
The home team didn't waste any time and opened the match with a first set victory of, 25-16. Karen Ramiu (Caguas, PR) had a solid night with a team high 11 kills and a service ace as Bloomfield finished sets 2 & 3 with scores of 25-17 in each.
Amanda Arroyo (Isabella, PR) and Lily Ann Jackson (Apopka, FL) paced the Bears offense with 13 assists each and Karla Maldonado (Morovis, PR) had a game-high 14 digs for the match.
 
Up next, Bloomfield will travel to Dominican University on Saturday, September 17 for another CACC battle. The contest with the Chargers is set for a 12:00 pm first serve.
