BLOOMFIELD, NJ– The Bears lost their third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest Tuesday evening when they dropped a, 75-61 decision to Caldwell University. The setback in The Den left Bloomfield with an 8-8 record overall and a 4-3 mark in league play. The Cougars improved to 10-7 on the year and 6-2 in conference play.
The Bears offense struggled down the stretch but
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) and
Deavion Ellis (North Bergen, NJ) each netted 13 points to lead the scoring attack.
Izaiah Poole (Newark, NJ), fresh off his career-high on Sunday (21 points vs Jefferson) added in 10 points for the home squad. Tyrek Battle Holley (Jersey City, NJ) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds on the night.
Next up, Bloomfield will try to end the three-game when Georgian Court University comes to The Den on Saturday. The CACC battle at home is scheduled for a 3:00 pm tip-off.
