ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team hit the road for their last non-conference battle of the regular season and came away with a, 92-83 victory over Molloy University. The Bears improved to 8-6 on the season and marked their 2
nd-straight win Saturday afternoon while the Lions fell to 5-11 with the setback.
Andres Fulgencio (Englewood, NJ) powered the visitors' offensive attack with a game and season-high, 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field. The Bears saw their largest scoring output of the season (92) as Fulgencio led four Bloomfield players who scored in double-figures followed by
Josh Morris (Ewing, NJ) who chipped in 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting.
Tyrek Battle-Holley (Jersey City, NJ) netted 12 points and
Wesley Robinson (Burlington, NJ) posted his 2
nd double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and snagging a career-high 14 rebounds in the win.
The Bears return home for their biggest challenge of the season as nationally ranked, Dominican University gallops into town. The showdown with the Chargers is set for 7:30 pm tip-off on Tuesday, January 10.
