LAKEWOOD, NJ – The Bears volleyball team travelled to Georgian Court University on Saturday and dropped the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle in straight sets, 25-22, 25-10 and 25-16. The setback left the Bloomfield with a 2-9 overall record and 2-7 in league play while the Lions improved to 10-8 on the season and 5-4 in conference match-ups.
Amanda Arroyo had team-highs in assists and kills, recording 11 and 7 respectively on the stat sheet. Lauryn Hansford registered a team-high, 8 digs at the GCU Wellness Center and Ronaya Moore added 2 service aces, 6 digs and 4 kills.
Bloomfield will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they host Felician University in The Den. The CACC match on October 17th is set for a 7:00 pm first serve.
