BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Bears women's volleyball team endured their 8
th consecutive sweep Saturday afternoon when they fell, 3-0 to Thomas Jefferson University. Bloomfield College of Montclair State University dropped to 0-9 on the season and 0-4 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action while the Rams improved to 6-10 overall and, 2-2 in league play.
The visiting team jumped ahead 8-2 early on in Set 1 but the Bears drew to within 9-7 before the Rams pushed ahead to 16-9. Jefferson went on to take Set 1, 25-14 and followed up with a 25-11 win in Set 2. The Rams held Bloomfield to their lowest set point output (25-3) in the two-year tenure of head coach
Jorge Rodriguez to close the match.

Amaia Oliver had a career day for the home team with 10 digs and 3 blocks.
Volleyball returns to The Den on Tuesday night for another CACC test against the Cougars of Caldwell University. The first serve is set for 7:00 p.m. with Bloomfield still in search of their first win of the year.
