HOW IT HAPPENED
- During the first half, Bloomfield guard Zamorian Singleton made two consecutive jump shots to give Bloomfield the largest lead of the contest at 41-32 with 2:16 to play. In the final minute-and-a-half, senior Jhamyl Fricas drained a 3-pointer and Henderson dropped in a layup to beat the buzzer and make it a one-possession game, 43-40 at the break.
- The Bears jumped ahead after a quick start to the second half, going up by as many as seven at 50-43 less than 90 seconds in. The Penmen, however, ripped off seven-straight as part of a 20-8 rush that was capped with a Henderson 3-pointer that put SNHU up, 63-58, near the midway point of the stanza.
- With the Penmen holding a narrow, one-point lead in the final seconds, Daniels blocked a shot to preserve the lead and get the ball back for the hosts. Following a foul with 0.5 seconds on the clock, Henderson would sink one of two at the line and Bloomfield's three-quarter-court pass was knocked out of bounds to seal it.
