BLOOMFIELD, N.J. (November 22, 2024) - Bloomfield College of Montclair State University E-Sports Super Smash Brothers Ultimate team brought home the gold Friday with a, 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom College in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) inaugural season Championship Final.

After 7 weeks of leading up to the conference finals the undefeated Bears opened the first set with a 9-3 victory led by sophomore Harold Pierre who took three stocks and the remaining six were claimed by sophomore Nico McClendon.

Set two started off in Goldey-Beacom's favor after senior Jahdair Reels and freshman Elijah Santiago fell behind 3-6. Bears sophomore, Nico McClendon would not be denied victory and reclaimed the lead and finished off the set 9-7.

In the final set, senior Vuisaul Hardy gave the bears a 4-3 lead which was the redeeming set for Elijah Santiago taking the last five stocks and sealing the victory and the trophy 9-3.
