BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Bloomfield College men's basketball team saw their 7-game winning streak come to an end as Jefferson University won, 90-68 on Saturday afternoon. The hotly-contested Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) battle at The Den left the Bears overall record at, 15-7 and 7-4 in conference play while the visiting Rams improved their record to 14-8 and 7-4 in league matches.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Al Fatir Connor recorded a team-high in 16 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3PT, 3-4 FT) and 11 assists for his first career double-double
·
Izaiah Poole came off the bench to score 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3-4 FT) in 18 minutes of action
·
Edward Ngene added 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 FT) snagged 7 rebounds and blocked 4 shots
KEY MOMENTS
· The game opened up with the Rams pulling ahead, 23-10 in the first 10 minutes of the game. The visitors extended their lead to 49-18 with just over five minutes remaining in the half.
· Bloomfield shot 40.6 percent (13-32) from the field in the first half but Jefferson went 20-for-32 (62.5 percent) and secured a 49-31 lead at the break.
· The Rams opened up the second period of play with a wide-open dunk and the home team found themselves trying to claw their way back into the game, falling behind 75-53 with under 10 minutes to go. Jefferson had all the answers down the stretch and secured the CACC showdown.
