Bloomfield, NJ-  The Lady Deacons extended their season this evening and advance to the semi-final round of the CACC tournament with a 4 set win over Post University by a score of 3-1 (28-26, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22).  The Lady Deacons improve their overall record to 15-14 on the season and Post finishes their season a 10-24. 

The Deacons would be led in kills by Jussara Oliveira with 11 and BC Player of the Week Tiffany Jackson had a season high 10 in the win.  Senior all-conference players Sonia Perez and Celeste Lindsey would step up big for the Lady Deacons in the final home games of their conference careers.  Perez would register 34 assists and Lindsey would add 9 kills and also total 10 blocks.  Evelyn Ferreira would have a match high 19 digs, while Oliveira would contribute 12 and Brunna Coutinho would add 11.

The Lady Deacons now move to the conference semi-finals where they take on regular season South Division Champion Georgian Court this Friday in Philadelphia at USP.  Gametime is TBD.
