Millersville, PA-  The women's volleyball team dropped two games in a 3 team match yesterday afternoon at Millersville University that also included Lock Haven University.  With the two losses yesterday, Bloomfield falls to 3-6 overall, and 1-0 in CACC play.  Lock Haven improves to 15-0 with two wins on the day and Millersville's split takes them to 3-7 on the season.

Bloomfield was defeated 3 games to 1 against undefeated Lock Haven by scores of (15-25, 25-21, 19-25, 11-25).  BC's win of set 2 was only Lockhaven's 3rd set loss of the entire season.

Millersville defeated BC 3 games to none with scores of (22-25, 15-25, 18-25).  Bloomfield had a 10-4 lead in game 1 of the match but was unable to hold on.  With the score tied at 20-20, Millersville pulled away taking 5 of the next 7 points giving them the game.  MU jumped out early in the next two games and the Lady Deacons were unable to catch up.

In the losing effort, Sonia Perez led BC with 20 assists.  Brunna Coutinho led the attack for the women registering 8 kills.  Defensively, Evelyn had a team high 8 digs.

The women get back to CACC play this Tuesday when they take on Nyack at home at 7:30pm.
