Bloomfield falls at Dominican 3-1

ORANEBURG, N.Y. (October 5, 2012) -
The Bloomfield College women's volleyball team fell to 2-9 overall and 1-8 in CACC play Friday night, as they dropped a 3-1 (17-25, 25-22, 10-25, 16-25) road decision to CACC North Division rival Dominican College. 

Sophomore Karol Oliveros (Newark, N.J.) totaled seven kills, seven assists and 10 digs in a stellar all-around effort, while senior Allison Hart (Pagosa Springs, Co.) notched seven kills of her own to go with 10 assists and nine digs.  Deandra Black (East Brunswick, N.J.) totaled seven kills to finish tied for the team high along with Oliveros and Hart, while rookie Leila Wooten (Piscataway, N.J.) notched a career-high 12 digs to lead the club in the setback. 

Bloomfield returns to action Saturday, October 6 when they welcome CACC South Division foe Holy Family University for a weekend conference match.  Start time for the contest is scheduled for Noon.
