WATERBURY, Conn. - The Bloomfield College women's volleyball team fell to 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in conference play Tuesday night, as they dropped a 3-0 (16-25, 13-25, 21-25) road decision to CACC North Division rival Post University. 

Rookie Juliette Monroy (Rahway, N.J.) tied a career high with 14 kills to lead the Lady Deacons offensive attack in the loss, while fellow freshman Ashley Wright (Moreno Valley, Ca.) notched seven kills in the setback.  Monroy, Wright and rookie Franchely Inoa (Bayonne, N.J.) each totaled five digs to lead the defensive effort, while freshman Jacquelyn Madlock (Alta Loma, Ca.) led the club with 10 assists in the loss. 

Bloomfield returns to action Sept. 21, when they travel to take on non-conference opponents Daemen College and American International College in the club's first day at the AIC Yellow Jacket Invitational.  Start time for the opening match of the day, which will take place on the campus of American International in Springfield, Mass., is scheduled for 3 p.m.
