NEWARK, DE - The Deacons watch 4 players score in double figures as they tame the Wildcats of Wilmington University 79-63 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action. Sophomore forward Claude Blue (Brooklyn, NY) notched a double-double for Bloomfield, scoring 12 points and grabbing a game high 15 rebounds. Senior forward Mike Williams (Ewing, NJ) and sophomore guard Clarence White (Bronx, NY) both went perfect from beyond the arc (2-2) dropping 16 and 11 points respectively. Bloomfield improves to 10-6 overall with an 8-1 record in CACC play while the Wildcats fall to 7-11 on the season going 3-6 in conference action.

The Deacons took command in Wildcat Country early, opening the game with an 8-0 run in front of the Wilmington University Athletics Complex crowd. The lead would grow to twenty (40-20) after a Williams' 3-pointer at the 2:41 minute mark. In command from the onset, Bloomfield would settle in with a 41-24 advantage at the half. Williams recorded 12 of his game high 16 points at the break while Blue had snatched 10 rebounds in the opening period.

The second period was more of the same with the Deacons going up by twenty (48-28) after a White 3-pointer. Bloomfield would lead by as many as 31 in the second frame and finally finished out the contest with the sixteen point margin of victory. White would finish with 8 points in the second half along with freshman center John Powell (Ashland, MA) who also had 8 in the period.  Powell was the Deacons 4th double-figure scorer notching 13 points in all during the game.
